The same organisation publishes the iconic Flemish cookbook. The Boerinnenbond is part of the very large Belgian farmers&#8217; organisation &#8216;De Boerenbond&#8217;.<br \/>&#8216;Bij de haard&#8217; is tailored to the woman\/mother of the time. It is full of advising articles on the points of contact with her life, such as education, cooking, minor and major ailments, relationships, interior design, appropriate clothing, the garden, etc. In all these articles God is never far away.<br \/>With this information, this magazine offers a special insight into the woman, or at least what the woman of the mid-twentieth century was supposed to be. An excellent piece of social anthropology collected in very nice looking
